Typically for natural or 3D lashes the process will take anywhere from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the complexity of the style you choose. For 4D-8D, you should expect it to take 2-3 hours due to their complexity.

At Ashari, we are deeply committed to ethical practices across all aspects of our business, which includes the products we choose to use. Although mink eyelashes were once favoured in the beauty industry due to their natural appearance and feel, there are significant ethical concerns associated with their procurement.

For these reasons, we decided to use synthetic fibres like Korean PBT for our lash extensions. These fibres can be tailored to mimic the look and feel of mink fur without any of the associated ethical concerns, potential health risks, and practical drawbacks.

Real fur lashes, such as mink, lose their curl in hot and humid climates, reducing their longevity and impact whereas Korean PBT fibres are more resilient and retain their curl even in extreme climates, making them ideal for use in places like Bali.

We utilize a variety of premium products from across the globe. Our adhesive, Sky Glue, comes from South Korea and is very popular among eyelash professionals worldwide.

Allergic reactions to our adhesives are rare, but if you've had a reaction before, we suggest not having the service done since all eyelash adhesives, including sensitive brands, contain the same bonding agent, cyanoacrylate, which likely caused the reaction.

Before your appointment, please make sure to remove any makeup, especially mascara.

We will clean your lashes before the application, but our cleanser is designed to remove oil and protein build-up, not makeup.

Unfortunately, we don't refill lashes done by other salons due to potential incompatibility between different brands of extensions and adhesives. However, we offer a complimentary removal service with full set bookings and can apply a new set in your desired style and length.

The longevity of eyelash extensions can vary significantly from person to person, and it is influenced by several factors including your lifestyle, aftercare routine, and skin type.

Lifestyle: Your daily activities can have a major impact on how long your lash extensions last. For instance, frequent exposure to heat and humidity, such as in saunas, hot yoga classes, or long, hot showers, can weaken the adhesive and cause the extensions to fall out sooner. Similarly, if you're a side or stomach sleeper and your lashes are frequently rubbing against your pillow, this can also lead to a shorter lash extension lifespan.

Aftercare: Proper aftercare is crucial to the longevity of your lash extensions. This includes avoiding oil-based skincare and makeup products, as these can dissolve the adhesive and cause your lashes to shed prematurely. It's also important to avoid rubbing your eyes and to clean your lashes regularly with a lash-friendly cleanser. Furthermore, using the lash brush given to you during your appointment to gently detangle and align your lashes daily can help to prolong their lifespan.

Skin Type: Your skin type can also play a role in how long your lash extensions last. If you have oily skin, the oils can travel to your lash line and break down the adhesive, causing your extensions to fall out sooner. Conversely, if your skin is too dry, the lashes can become brittle and fall out. It's important to maintain a balanced skincare routine to help prolong the life of your lash extensions.

Given these variables, it's difficult to give a precise timeframe for how long lash extensions will last. However, typically they can last anywhere between 2-3 weeks before needing a refill, depending on how well they're taken care of and the speed of your natural shedding cycle. This is because our eyelashes naturally fall out and regrow, and the lash extensions will fall out with them.

For the most vibrant and full look, we recommend booking a refill appointment every 2-3 weeks. If you choose not to maintain them, the extensions should shed completely after 5-6 weeks. But remember, everyone is different, and your individual factors may result in a slightly different timeline.

We advise against using mascara because it's challenging to remove without pulling on the lashes and it can dissolve the adhesive.

Keep 'em Dry: Avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 1 hour after application. This allows the glue to fully set.

No Steam or Sauna: Steer clear of steam rooms, saunas, and hot yoga classes for the first day.

Daily Maintenance

Hands Off: Do not rub your eyes or pull on your lash extensions. This can weaken the adhesive and cause premature shedding.

Curler-Free Zone: Eyelash curlers are a big no-no; your extensions are already curled!

Blot, Don't Rub: After showering, gently blot your lashes with a tissue and let them air dry.

No Towel Scrubbing: Avoid using a towel on your lashes as the fibres can pull them.

Sleep Habits

Pillow Talk: Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction while you sleep.

Sleep Position: Try to sleep on your back to avoid crushing your lashes.

Refills & Removal

Regular Refills: For best results, schedule refills every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking lush and full.

Professional Removal: If you wish to remove your extensions, please schedule an appointment for professional removal. Do not attempt to remove them yourself.

Sunscreen Smart: If you're using sunscreen, make sure it's oil-free and avoid applying it too close to your lashes.
